A FOURTH state government property in Clifton Hill has been acquired by an owner occupier in the space of three months.
The vacant 50-52 Alexandra Parade property in Melbourne’s inner-north sold for $860,000 through a private campaign at a land rate of $4,300 per sqm.
Savills agents Mark Stafford, Julian Heatherich and Nick Peden negotiated the string of deals, which Stafford said underlined how strong the current owner occupier market is.
He said the purchaser plans to use the property as an office space.
It comprises a single-level 177sqm warehouse on a 200sqm site, with on-site parking and rear laneway access.
“The market for inner-city property has rarely been stronger and Clifton Hill is now clearly on the radar as it offers very close proximity to the CBD, the Eastern Freeway, and trams and train services,” Heatherich said.ind
The other Clifton Hill properties include 3 Hilton Street, which sold for $900,000, 10 Reeves Street for $3.6 million, and 44 Alexandra Parade for $910,000.
