MORE than three years after initially being offered for sale, a buyer has been found for the 49.43-hectare Crossways Farm in New South Wales’ southern highlands.
A Western Australian group has paid $5.55 million for the Robertson farm, at 101 Pearsons Lane, which includes a five-bedroom Spanish tiled house, two two-bedroom flats, an indoor horse arena and two outdoor arenas, as well as three lakes.
Angus Campbell-Jones of Campbell Jones Property negotiated the deal on behalf of vendor Louise Zavattaro. It was previously owned by fashion industry identities Lisa Ho and Philip Smouha.
The farm was listed in 2014 with Richardson & Wrench Bowral after the vendors acquired the property in 2009 for $4.8 million and undertakings refurbishments and extensions. It was hoped to fetch up to of $7 million.
