PRIVATE developer and investor 9Springs has launched its 24-apartment development Akoya North Sydney, on the 160 Pacific Highway property it acquired last year for more than $10 million.
The nine-level Rothelowman Architect-designed project is addressed 1B Doohat Avenue and aims “to combat the influx of inferior quality product”.
“As the market slows down, investors are under pressure and this can result in a declining quality,” 9Springs director, Michael Radovnikovic said.
“There’s limited supply in North Sydney and we believe that buyers are becoming savvier and want to see a design and build of their home that is bespoke to their lifestyle.”
The former office building site offers harbour views, two-storey penthouses and a communal rooftop, and is a short walk from the new Victoria Cross station.
Colliers International are marketing the project.
