POPULAR family-owned and operated northern beachside pub The Tavern @ The Rocks in Perth has been listed for sale with expectations of $2.5 million.

Overlooking Two Rocks Marina, the pub comprises a large TAB area, function room, terrace, restaurant dining, lounge bar, beer garden and public bar, and has a licence of close to 1,000 persons.

It is on a 2,864sqm site and adjoins the local shopping centre, which is anchored by an IGA and several speciality retailers.

CBRE’s Ryan McGinnity and Chloe Mason are handling the marketing campaign, with the offering including the land and all business assets.

McGinnity said the venue’s location in Perth’s growing northern corridor would position it favourably in the market.

“The tavern @ the rocks is located in close proximity to large residential estates at Eglinton, Yanchep and Alkimos. With recent commitments from the government to extend the freeway and rail to Yanchep, Two Rocks and surrounding suburbs are expected to be among the fastest growing residential areas in Perth,” McGinnity said.

Mason said the venue represents an attractive opportunity for a new entrant into the market to acquire an established business on a large site, with longer-term redevelopment potential as residential or commercial.
