THE Atlas Paving site in Mirrabooka has listed for sale for the first time in more than 65 years, bringing 15.52 hectares of Mixed Business-zoned land in Perth’s northern suburbs to the market.
Lot 820 Alexander Drive has been privately owned since before 1954 and has been used for brick making and concrete batching.
CBRE’s Jarrad Grierson and Richard Cash are handling the offers to purchase campaign.
The site has 524 metres of frontage to Alexander Drive and is located opposite the Malaga industrial precinct. Current improvements include a mix of buildings, including an office and warehouse facility previously used for manufacturing, and the property is being offered with several short-term or rolling leases over parts the site.
Grierson said the offering represented an opportunity to secure a rare infill site with significant scale that would support a wide range of business uses, including industrial and large format retail.
“An incoming owner could look at a range of value-add options, including a land subdivision, site redevelopment or refurbishment of the existing buildings for lease or owner-occupation.”
Interest from logistics and large format retail tenants is expected given the site’s immediate access to Perth’s major road infrastructure.
Cash said the site’s location, 12 kilometres north of Perth’s CBD and in the Malaga area, is highly regarded due to its proximity to Perth’s major arterial routes, the CBD and Perth Airport.
