Drew gets green light for Palm Beach development

DREW Group’s nine level, 75 apartments and terrace residential project Village in Palm Beach has been given development approval.

Designed by architects BDA and located at 6-8 Palm Beach Ave, Village will have glass balustrades, feature façades, and greenery with the rooftop featuring a pool, BBQ, gardens and entertainment areas.

The Gold Coast project will have 75 one, two and three bedroom apartments and four-bedroom beach terraces.

“Palm Beach is made up of active families, singles, couples and downsizers. Village caters for them all with varying configurations and price points,” said Jonathan Drew, managing director of Drew Group said.

Village will officially be launched to market in the middle of this month and has received over 200 enquiries and 13 deposits being placed on apartments including one on the beach terraces, according to Colliers who is marketing the project.

“The buyers are primarily the Palm Beach locals who will own and occupy, with a mixture of downsizers and investors also coming from Brisbane, ACT, NSW and New Zealand,” , director of residential at Colliers, David Higgins said.

Starting price are $390,000 for a one-bedroom apartment, $580,000 for two, $970,000 for three bedrooms, and $1.455 million for four-bedroom beach terraces.
