New retail leadership at AMP Capital

FOLLOWING a restructure in August that realigned the real estate business along sector specialisations, AMP Capital has appointed Marco Ettore as head of retail and investments.

Current head of retail, Mark Kirkland will take on the new role of head of retail development and asset creation, which will have expanded responsibilities that will take in master planning and delivery of projects with a further focus on mixed use asset creation capability and origination of development investment opportunities for clients.

Kirkland has been with AMP Capital for seven years, and has more than 30 years of experience in real estate including development, operations and construction.

Ettorre is currently the acting head of retail at Lendlease and will lead the property management, leasing and investment management teams in his new position.

The new roles are effective from January.

Justine Hughes, as head of asset and investment management and Greg Antoniadis as head of shopping centre development, will be leaving the business.
