KNIGHT Frank has made three promotions to its capital markets team, including the appointment of Ben Schubert to the national board.
Schubert will step into the role of head of agency and will be in charge of the national capital markets, leasing and industrial logistics teams.
Paul Roberts has been promoted to head of capital markets Australia, being responsible for institutional sales, investment sales, Asian markets, and retail.
Knight Frank Australia partner and chief executive officer, Rod Leaver said under the leadership of Ben and Paul, the capital markets team negotiated nearly $8 billion in deals over the second half of 2019.
Since joining Knight Frank three years ago, Schubert and Roberts have focused on the sale of institutional grade assets within the major CBD’s and surrounding metropolitan areas, which have included 201 Elizabeth Street (for $630 million), The Zenith ($438.2 million), Jessie St Centre ($415 million) and 135 King St ($340 million).
Also among the new promotions is Scott Timbrell, from head of investment sales NSW to head of investment sales Australia.
Timbrell has been with Knight Frank for more than three years, overseeing more than 40 staff and $1.49 billion in sales for the team over 2019. He has travelled extensively through China and Hong Kong showcasing development sites and investment opportunities in the Sydney market.
