HINDMARSH Construction Australia has started work on a $102 million mixed use development in Coorparoo, qualifying the project for the federal government’s HomeBuilder grant.

Being developed by Karam Group, the eight level Maasra Apartments will have 102 dwellings and is expected to be completed in late 2021.

The $25,000 HomeBuilder grant is available to eligible individuals and couples who intend to own and occupy an apartment they purchase off the plan before the 31st December deadline.

Apartments start at $399,000, and a number of one and two-bedroom apartments also meet the criteria for the First Home Owners’ Grant of $15,000, plus an exemption on stamp duty. This means some first home buyers can access up to $40,000 in grants.

Amenities include a 25-metre pool with timber decking, sun beds, landscaped surrounds, residents’ lounge, gymnasium, retail on the ground floor and office space on level one.
