ASX-listed logistics software company Orcoda has been selected by Savills’ new supply chain division to optimise transport solutions and quantify operational benefits.
Orcoda will be used in addition to other tools Savills uses to compare locations for distribution centres, including the Savills NodeMaster platform, built by SA1 Property.
“Savills selected the OLMS software because we believe it is a step above the competition due to its ability to meet the Australian requirements of fatigue and mass management under chain of responsibility legislation plus adapt to meet the constraints of tailored supply chains,” Bob Quirk, Savills Australia’s supply chain director said.
Grant Boydell, Orcoda’s general manager transport logistics said OLMS provides a comprehensive suite of capabilities, including modelling, operational planning, fleet and load allocation, chain of responsibility reporting, in-field transparency and enhanced customer services.
He said the agreement would provide Orcoda with an Australia wide network connecting Savills’ clients with OLMS sales.
