JLL has recruited Luke Dutton from Colliers, appointing him to the role of senior director of tenant representation, New South Wales, as the segment grows through the pandemic.

Dutton has worked in the commercial real estate industry for over 20 years, bringing experience in providing advice to large national corporate tenants with operations based in NSW. He will be based in Sydney.

“We are delighted to have Luke join us. Luke’s experience is invaluable to us as we continue to grow our business and meet the changing needs of corporate occupiers in the current pandemic environment,” Gavin Martin, head of tenant representation NSW said.

He said tenant representation at JLL has seen increased demand from both existing and future clients, requiring advice and direction around what the future of the office looks like.

“Transactions are being structured around flexibility, as we work through these challenging times. This flexibility extends to the use of space and the length of term offered, and the ability to expand and contract within the space in order to manage major events like the pandemic.”
