COMMERCIAL real estate firm CI Australia has made a key appointment to its CBD office leasing team, hiring Sean Hennessy as associate director.
Hennessy will bring 15 years of experience as a trusted advisor to both landlords and tenants, working in both residential and commercial property to his new role at CI, having led projects and transactions such as Grosvenor Place, Chifley Tower and 52 Martin Place.
“It’s an exciting time for the Sydney CBD, as employees make their return to the physical office and occupiers evaluate their leasing needs and aspirations,” said Hennessy.
Coming to CI after a decade with the JLL commercial leasing team, Hennessy has worked with clients across Sydney including Dexus, Mirvac, Arcadia and Charter Hall.
“I’m confident my experience and market knowledge will assist CI’s valued clients to continue to have absolute confidence in their leasing decisions and demonstrate the ongoing attraction of the CBD for tenants and employees,” concluded Hennessy.
Recent data from JLL has revealed that Sydney’s CBD office tenants are not only actively seeking new space, but are also looking to increase their total footprint.
While Knight Frank’s Sydney CBD Office market report found office rents are on their way up, as absorption levels are driven up.
