CONSTRUCTION is now underway at The Potter Group’s Gold Coast industrial warehouse development in Bundall.
Bundall Base is set to be located at 8 Strathaird Road, sitting just 3km out from Surfers Paradise and around 77km out from the Brisbane CBD.
Bundall Base will be comprised of 16 strata titled low impact self-storage warehouses with prices starting at $650,000, the project is currently 50% sold, with sales occurring ahead of the construction phase.
The Potter Group’s own senior sales manager Darren Mealing will act as the project’s marketing agent and has said that demand for the development has already been very strong from both owner-occupiers and investors.
“The project’s A-grade location and the modern fixtures and finishes within the architecturally designed warehouses have proven very attractive for buyers,” said Mealing.
The units will also be built to be ideal self-storage facilities for boats, cars, caravans, light machinery and hardware, as they are set to feature approved mezzanine floors.
Prices at the development begin at $650,000 and extend to $1 million, with the available units on offer ranging in size from 108sqm to 162sqm.
Bundall Base sits in the heart of Bundall’s commercial and industrial hub, while also conveniently placed just minutes out from the Gold Coast Turf Club, the Surfers Paradise beachfront and around 6km south of the Southport CBD.
The Potter Group’s Bundall Base development is currently scheduled to reach completion by December 2022.
In the sector more broadly, Abacus Property Group recently made its latest move to boosting its self-storage portfolio, having closed its $200 million fully underwritten institutional placement, after identifying a development and expansion pipeline of $266 million in the growing sector.
