RETAIL construction specialist Mainbrace has promoted Michael Fague to the newly created role of new business and strategy in New South Wales.
In his new role, he will be responsible for driving new business development opportunities and generating new client relationships as well as focus on last mile logistics as the company continues to evolve its services to meet the changing needs of its clients.
The company has completed numerous last mile logistics and customer fulfillment centre projects over the last few years and has fielded increased enquiry in this area in the last six months.
“As our clients adapt to the new retail reality, Mainbrace has the advantage of an extensive track record and specialist expertise in retail. We’ll continue to draw on this experience to help our clients optimise their existing retail operations, unlock new value in their assets, and support them in a changing landscape for retail and property generally,” Fague said.
Fague has been with the company for 19 years and was the driving force behind the establishment of the company’s Victorian operation in 2014. He will move back to Sydney.
“Michael exemplifies the way we work at Mainbrace. He’s driven by project-first outcomes, is a proven leader, has broad experience across the different construction disciplines and is a loyal, valued member of our team. He has demonstrated an innate ability to build lasting client relationships,” Mainbrace managing director Rob Doust said.
“It means he’s the best person to help us build capability at a time when our clients are relying on us more than ever to add value to their operations.” Doust concluded.
