GLOBAL co-working space provider WeWork has appointed Samit Chopra as managing director, Pacific, to oversee key markets including Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Chopra brings over 20 years’ experience and overseeing major international projects for key clients such as Amazon, Apple, Qualcomm, Broadcom, MetLife, Cisco, Microsoft, Deutsche Bank and UHG.
Based in Singapore, he will be responsible for WeWork Pacific’s P&L management, go-to-market strategy, sales leadership, growth and innovation, and talent development.
He will report to Eugen Miropolski, COO International, who said Chopra brings with a wealth of experience and success in accelerating the growth of international businesses across regions.

Chopra holds a MBA from the Institute of Management Technology, and Bachelor of Commerce from Delhi University. He also attended the Advanced Management Program in Real Estate from Harvard University and the Advanced Data Analytics Program from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
